Who can say they have walked on an airport runway?

Well Run the Runway gives you access to walk/run the runway at Timaru's Richard Pearse Airport.

 

Starting at 5pm with Static Aircraft Displays, BBQ and raffle, access will then be granted at 6:30pm to move through the 3.3km route past the apron (where the big planes park) and onto the runway. The pretty runway lights will be on providing the perfect photo opportunity! The event is for everyone, with tickets available now!

There will be many spot prizes awarded on the evening including a Trial Flight and so much more!

Your ticket gives access onto the runway, wristband and certificate to finish. All proceeds go towards funding new aircraft for the aero club.
