SCAC Flying Rules
To ensure the safety of members, students, staff and the public, South Canterbury Aero Club and its pilots
at all times must adhere to all relevant Civil Aviation Rules. Further to CAA Rules, SCAC members and its staff whilst operating club aircraft must also adhere to a set of guidelines as laid out in the Club Flying Rules by the Chief Flying Instructor.
These rules outline minimums in fuel, oil, daylight, and altitudes for club aircraft operations along with standard operating procedures for club aircraft.
It is the Pilot in Command's responsibility to know the Club Flying Rules or changes to, before operating a club aircraft.
The CFI invites members for their input and advice on the Club Flying Rules at any time.
